Most of these intaglio prints were created in workshops at Crown Point Press in San Francisco, CA. Printmaking requires a certain level of precision as well as alchemical know-how. I love working with metal and acids, concoctions of soap, chalk, tar, sap, pine rosin, pigments and oil, and spirits. These processes are all about working with chance, mystery and discovery.
